Emerging Standards Manager, PCI Security Standards Council

Mr. Weisz’s role with PCI SSC includes technical contributions and efforts on PCI Data Security Standard development. Prior to joining the Council, Mr. Weisz was a PCI-QSA, consultant, and a subject matter expert with various companies across North America, performing complex hands-on security assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk assessments.

Mr. Weisz has over 20 years of experience in application development, application and network layer penetration testing, security encompassing compliance, vulnerability scanning rules development, threat and risk management, network security assessments, and wireless deployments. He holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and ISACA CISM certifications.
