General Event FAQs

To access the online portal:

Click here to log in to the event platform MeetingPlay.
• Enter your email address and password to log into the platform.

  • Your email will be the email you registered for the event with.
  • Your initial password will be your Cvent Registration Confirmation Code that was emailed to you when you registered and again in the what to know before you log on email that we sent to you from [email protected] on 25 October.

• You must agree to the terms and accept the privacy policy.
• After initial login, you will be prompted to reset your password.
• After you reset your password, return to the login page and enter your email and new password to enter the event.
• Once your password has been reset you will be logged in to the platform.

Please ensure you are using Google Chrome for the optimal user experience.

We have made considerations in scheduling our programming to serve the needs of of our audience, including the availaiblty of on-demand sessions. The Council is offering this online event with dedicated days for each region presented in the following local time zones:
Tuesday, 26 October – All events for this day will take place in Central Europe Summer Time (CEST)
Wednesday, 27 October – All events for this day will take place in Japan Standard Time (JST)
Thursday, 28 October – All events for this day will take place in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)

The Global Community Forum will be web-based and will only need a computer and an internet connection.

On-Demand content will be released each day following the last Vendor Showcase/Office Hours. Click the “Video On-Demand” tab on the left hand navigation bar within the platform. You can then filter the videos by tags. You can access all content, video, and sessions until Friday 19 November 2021 at 23:59 EDT in the event platform.

Once you are in the event platform, please go to the ? in the top right-hand corner and click on Live Support to get assistance with any event-related questions.

VPN: It is possible that your VPN could block incoming or outgoing video and audio. If possible, turn off your VPN or connect via an alternate device not connected to a VPN. If this is not possible, we recommend working with your company’s IT department to resolve the issue.

Company Firewall: It is possible that your company firewall could block incoming or outgoing video and audio. If possible, connect to the event on a different network or use your mobile phone. If this is not possible, we recommend working with your company’s IT department to resolve the issue.

The Global Community Forum presentations will be in English.

If you prefer to view the platform in Chinese or Japanese, you may “Select Language” in the dropdown menu on the left-hand navigation bar once you are logged into the platform.

Presentations will be available in English, Chinese and Japanese.

Use of social media tools at the Forum to discuss and share non-confidential information is welcome.

However, in order to keep these valuable discussions moving along, we kindly request that if you wish to use social media, you do so in a manner that does not distract from the goals of the forum. Additionally, if you choose to use social media to report on your experience with the virtual Forum, please do not publish confidential details of specific discussions or disclose any information about any company’s security position or compliance status.

• How to make the most of your PCI SSC Engagement. Are you utilizing all of your benefits? What is your understanding of the various programs? Any and all general PCI SSC questions can be discussed here.
• Software Potential topics to be discussed may include but are not limited to: Adoption of the Software Security Framework, Migration from Hardware to Software, and more.

Participating Organizations (POs), Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs), Approved Scanning Vendors (ASVs), PIN Transaction Security (PTS) labs, PCI Professionals (PCIPs), Payment Application QSAs (PA QSAs), Card Production Security Assessor (CPSA), Internal Security Assessors (ISAs), Qualified Integrators and Resellers (QIRs), Qualified PIN Assessor (QPAs), PCI Forensic Investigator (PFIs), Software Security Framework Assessor (SSFs), and Point-to-Point Encryption Assessors (P2PEs).

**If your company participates in multiple PCI SSC Programs, the number of allotted passes per member type can be aggregated. Example: if a company is both a QSA and an ASV, the company is allotted eight complimentary registrations (four for each program).

For registrations made online, confirmation of registration will be immediately sent via email, please e-mail [email protected] if you have not received your confirmation within 24 hours.

Your email confirmation will also serve as your meeting registration receipt. If you need something more detailed, please e-mail [email protected].

Registrations will be accepted on the day of the event but we recommend that you register ahead of time for an optimal event experience.

If you would like to change the information on your registration, please e-mail [email protected] with your requested change prior to the conference.

Our Refund Policy is as follows: Refunds are available based on when you cancel. Cancellations made at least thirty (30) days prior to the first day of the Global Community Forum will be refunded 100% of the registration fee, less a $25 administrative fee to cover the processing cost. Cancellations made less than thirty (30) but at least fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the Global Community Forum will be refunded 50% of the registration fee, less a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be available for cancellations less than fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the Global Community Forum or for no-shows. You may substitute another person from the Company if you are unable to attend. Requests for refunds or substitutions in accordance with this policy may be submitted by calling +1 (781) 876-6295 or email [email protected].

Refunds are available based on when you cancel. See below for details:

Attendees do not need to log on each day of the event. Choose which day is convenient to you in your time zone to view all the General Session portions of the agenda plus region specific sessions and Tech demos. Each day will have LIVE Conversations with the Council as well as extensive Vendor Showcase hours, so everyone has an opportunity to network and ask questions at times that makes the most sense to them. You will have access to watch all sessions On demand to watch at your leisure for 3 weeks following the event.

The site will be live for up to three weeks following the close of the event.

General Session and On-Demand Presentations (PDFs only) will be emailed to all attendees post-event.
