Gert Huizinga

Gert holds a Bachelor of Science in electronics. During his career which started in 1981, he has gained broad and deep experience in cards and security related matters on terminals, networks, processing, e-commerce and mobile. Gert combines a business, technology, and security perspective.

Within ING, Gert is involved in advising on security and business aspects of EU legislation such as the IFR, PSD2, EBA Guidelines and PCI standards (PCI DSS, PCI PTS).

Gert is an active member of national and international working groups and committees, representing ING, the Dutch banking community and the European Payments Council (EPC).

Gert is member of the PCI BoA representing EPC since 2008.
