Emma Sutcliffe

SVP, Standards Officer, PCI Security Standards Council

As SVP and Standards Officer, Ms. Sutcliffe leads a team of dedicated payment security specialists who develop and maintain PCI SSC’s global portfolio of security standards. Ms. Sutcliffe joined the Council in 2010 and has held several positions during that time, including chairing the Technical Working Group, 3-D Secure Working Group, and Tokenization Working Group. She works closely with the PCI Payment Brands, Affiliate members, and industry stakeholders to deliver the standards, supporting documentation, and guidance to facilitate understanding and adoption of secure payment practices. Ms. Sutcliffe has over 20 years’ experience in information security, is a current CISA, CISM and CISSP, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business – Hospitality Management with a Graduate Certificate in Information Security.
