Ron Tosto

Chief Executive Officer, Servadus

For 24 years, Ron’s first career was as a member of the elite U.S. Submarine force. During his military career, he had several personal awards for leadership and resourcefulness. Following his retirement from the Navy, he supported the Department of Defense’s Ports, Protocols, and Services vulnerability assessments. Later, he moved on to be the Global Lead of the PCI Professional Services team, one of the largest Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) companies from around the world. He is now the Chief Executive for the Servadus, which he founded. Ron has over 30 years of data protection experience and has CISSP, CISA, ITIL, and QSA certifications. Previously he held a certificate as a Payment Applications (PA)-QSA. Ron’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Technical Management and a Master of Business Administration.

During his off-work hours, Ron enjoys playing the drums, sailing, and traveling the world.

The Servadus tech demo will focus on the how to properly use the Qualys ASV tools, reading the reports, and coordinating remediation of the findings prior to retesting to maintain security and compliance.
