Steve Porter, CEO/Founder of SecuredNet, has been a QSA for over 10 years although his experience with PCI-DSS goes back to the original version in 2004. His technical background combined with a deep understanding and experience with PCI-DSS led SecuredNet to register as a QSAC in 2013 so that his team could offer full PCI Assessment Services to their clients.
With over 30 years of technical IT experience focusing on cybersecurity, Steve continues to expand his skills and regularly engages in compliance assessments, penetration testing, and incident response projects for a wide range of clients across many industries (fintech, payment processing, software development, energy, aviation, health care, government, education, etc.)
Steve is active speaker/committee member with local cybersecurity conferences including BSides Security Calgary, HTCIA, ISACA and has contributed on multiple Special Interest Groups with PCI.
