Prabin Acharya

Chief Operating Officer, Nepal Electronic Payment Systems Ltd.

Mr. Prabin Acharya is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Nepal Electronic Payment Systems Ltd. (NePS) a Payment System Operator in Nepal. He has been associated with NePS since November 2021 and since then he has been overseeing technology and information security along with Operations. NePS has been providing EFT switching platform to 11 different Banks in Nepal and is helping Banks in transaction processing, Card management, various types of Card acquiring solution etc.

Prior to NePS, Mr. Acharya was associated with Nepal SBI Bank Ltd (2010 – 2021) where he oversaw IT Department, Alternate Banking Channels Department and Core Banking Systems Department for over a decade. During his tenure at Nepal SBI Bank, Mr. Acharya worked in delivering different type of digital Banking solutions to Bank’s customer.

Mr. Acharya holds MBA degree from Pokhara University, Nepal.
