Andy is a trusted cyber security advisor and global industry leader for several of Coalfire’s segments including Financial Services, Telecoms and BPOs. Andy also leads two of our specialist technical teams covering digital forensics and the technical payment certifications such as P2PE, PA-DSS, SSF, 3DS and PCI PIN.

With 20 years of experience spanning cyber security, IT infrastructure and software development, Andy has diverse experience across most security frameworks. He consistently focuses on actionable advice to help ensure positive cyber security and compliance outcomes for our clients. Often aligning compliance frameworks with cyber defense initiatives (such as ATT&CK) to ensure compliance can drive security value and security delivers compliance.

Andy is consistently Coalfire’s top thought leader and a regular speaker at security conferences. Speaking at Lloyds of London, BlackHat Europe, DeepSec, AthCon, ISACA, The PCI community meetings and at the UK Payments Association. Andy was also one of the founding mentors of the BSides Rookie track in the UK – giving an opportunity to support others entering the industry.

His media outreach has included being a guest on the BBC News24 channel as well as being frequently requested by SC Magazine (UK and USA), Reuters and Bloomberg for his opinion on major cyber stories.
