Mr. Ross currently serves as Senior Director for Policy at BSA | The Software Alliance, a leading global trade association, where he focuses on policies relating to cyber security, law enforcement, and emerging technologies.\u00a0 He is the lead drafter of the BSA Framework for Software Security<\/em>, a risk-based tool for evaluating the security of software products and services.\u00a0 He is also a member of the Department of Homeland Security Information and Communications Technology Supply Chain Risk Management Task Force and Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.\u00a0 Prior to joining BSA, he served as the first Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Security Cooperation, where he led historic reforms to its security cooperation enterprise, and as a senior staff member for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3277,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-3278","speakers","type-speakers","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nTommy Ross -
