Senior Director for Policy, BSA | The Software Alliance
Mr. Ross currently serves as Senior Director for Policy at BSA | The Software Alliance, a leading global trade association, where he focuses on policies relating to cyber security, law enforcement, and emerging technologies. He is the lead drafter of the BSA Framework for Software Security, a risk-based tool for evaluating the security of software products and services. He is also a member of the Department of Homeland Security Information and Communications Technology Supply Chain Risk Management Task Force and Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Prior to joining BSA, he served as the first Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Security Cooperation, where he led historic reforms to its security cooperation enterprise, and as a senior staff member for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
