With a career spanning over 20 years in the petroleum payments space, Ms. Gunderson is the manager of CITGO Petroleum’s Payment Card Operations teams including oversight of: Point of Sale Product Management, Front-End Processing, Back-End Settlement, CITGO Private Label Cards, PCI DSS Compliance, EMV, Chargebacks and Fraud. Prior to CITGO, Ms. Gunderson worked with petroleum merchants at WorldPay. She started out in petroleum by managed card payments, managing major oil brand contracts and relationships while at Giant Industries/Western Refining. Her in-depth knowledge and experience within the petroleum payments space makes her an industry leading expert in the field. Ms. Gunderson is a PCI Professional. She is a founding member of the PCI SSC Petrol Task Force, the Chair of the Conexxus Data Security Standards Committee and a member of the Conexxus Board of Advisors. Ms. Gunderson also Co-Chairs the U.S. Payments Forum Petroleum Working Committee and is a former member of the U.S. Payments Forum Steering Committee.
