Mr. Thompson is a Director with the Solution Standards group, where his role includes technical contributions to PCI standards and related efforts, as well as serving as the chairman of the Point-to-Point Encryption working group for PCI SSC. Mr. Thompson has spent the last 20 years involved in security-sensitive and safety-critical engineering roles – possessing degrees in both Computer Engineering and Computer Science, as well as being listed on 5 U.S. patents from previous collaborations.
